About Venita Subramanian

I currently work as a User Experience Designer at Amazon and focus on their retail online experiences. Prior to joining Amazon, I worked at Fidelity Investments and lead their user experience strategy for their institutional and personal investing online applications. I love simplifying complex problems, and deeply care about making the world a better place through art, inclusive community engagement and visual storytelling. I hold a Master’s in International Communications and a Bachelor’s in Visual Communications and feel humbled by the opportunity I’ve had to develop a diverse skill-set through my work experience, education and travel.

I was born and raised in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and I’ve lived and worked in Dubai, India, Singapore, UK and now consider the United States my home. My social and cultural influences have shaped my hopes for an inclusive world and my background in art, graphic design and international communications has taught me ways to communicate this belief through my personal and professional endeavors.
